About Me
I am an Assistant Professor jointly in Global Studies and Computational Social Science in the School of Humanities and Social Science at Chinese University of Hong Kong Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen).
I got my PhD in American politics in the School of Government and Public Policy at the University of Arizona. My research mainly focuses on political psychology, public opinion, race/ethnicity and politics, and political behavior within American politics contexts, particularly on affective polarization, partisanship, ideology, and authoritarian personality. Most often, I use experimental methods (in and outside the lab), surveys, text analysis, and other statistical tools.
My work has been published or is forthcoming at the State Politics & Policy Quarterly and Politics and Life Sciences.
My dissertation project is supported by funding from the Princeton Dissertation Scholars Program through the Mamdouha S. Bobst Center for Peace and Justice at Princeton University, and survey space from the Polarization Research Lab.
